You're gonna get some that cross over the genres but...
1. I'd say Sinatra but if you're going with roots rock than yeh Johnny cash is old favorite of mine
2. Beatles
3. New York Dolls or early Blondie
4. Pistols
5. Cure
6. Pass don't like it
7. Garbage don't mind Nirvana but found them depressing and I'm already a depressive so avoid
8. Hole when they were good though Courtney is crazy
9. Sabbath or zep
10. Bowie though I was a massive t Rex fan
11. Hendrix
I want to put Elton john in there somewhere but don't know where. I hate him sometimes love him sometimes.
I'm a British glam girl that's my era and it was fun though it also produced a lot of junk before punk.
