August 17. Too soon.

Hurricanes suck. I'd rather go to school than go through another hurricane. Ike was a terrible experience. You have to make up the days you missed for it during what would have been your vacation time. Once you have to deal with a hurricane, you will regret wishing that.

August 24th, and I wish a hurricane would come like Ike did in texas, we got out for 1 1/2 weeks it was so fun, and the lights in our school came off and everything it was awesome

August 27th

Our high school has Freshman orientation on the first day, so Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors don't have to go until the second day.

Aug. 25th... BLAH!

I'm kind of having mixed messages about going back to school though... I mean I'm excited cuz' I'm going to be a Freshmen (No uniforms, more freedom, more friends, more BOYS! :P more electives) but then I'm not ready to wake up at the butt crack of dawn and although I'm excited, I'm really nervous too about starting HS.

I hope some stay or storm or something happens so we'll have a little more time, like you said... not damaging, much enough to give us a little bit longer of a vacation!
