so i want a high end pc but i am going to have to upgrade my way there , so tell me which is better
getting the HP Pro 3500 Microtower
specs :
Processor: Intel Core i3-3320 (3.3 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores)
2 GB RAM
Graphics card : ATI Sapphire HD 7870 1GB
( i might add more ram till like 8gb )
or the DELL XPS 8500
specs :
Processor: Core i5-3350P
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7570 (DVI, HDMI, VGA) 1GB
RAM 8GB
so tell me which would be better for gaming for a very long run , i can upgrade both of these with anything so the hp has a better GPU for now and the dell has a better CPU

The GPU is most important in gaming which carries 70% of the workload thus the build with the HD7870 would give you better gaming performance.
My gut answer was to tell you to go with the higher GPU but now that I'm thinking about it more that might not be the wisest choice.
True, the higher GPU would give you better gaming performance RIGHT NOW, but you said you want to use this rig for a long time. If you chose the HP with the higher GPU it would be obsolete in a few years and would be difficult to upgrade (upgrading CPUs [esp. Intel CPUs] is a pain.)
However, the XPS has a decently strong CPU that will last much longer. Everything else (including the GPU) is easy to replace when it gets obsolete. And it's not like the 7570 is a slouch when it comes to gaming.
Overall I'd say the XPS is a better investment if your goal is to have a machine with a long life.
First of all there is no i3 3320,only 3220.
I suggest if you are going to swap, may as well build one yourself. The PRO 3500 uses H61 chipset which sucks.Furthermore you should get haswell.
Now-a-days, games are heavily GPU dependent. So, I would opt for HP. However, why don't you build your PC? You can get whatever you want.
hi. Your chum ought to have alot of money to spend. there is setup like that at Tom's Hardware, even even though it became into donated via the Intel, so that they can carry out Benchmark assessments...
