. . . or something else for when you're laughing? :D
Update:lulz is like lol, but people usually use it more as a noun meaning laughs, or at least the way I see it. Ex. I did it for the lulz.
lmao/lmfao = laughing my [f---ing] a-- off.
rotfl = rolling on the floor laughing.
I don't text or chat at all, so I rarely ever use these, but my favorites are lmao and lmfao :)

I like saying 'lawl', but my favourite is rotflol because of the Weird Al Yankovic song "White and Nerdy".
"I memorised the Holy Grail really well
I can recite it right now
and make you rotflol"
It just has a nice rythym to say once you hear it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lp6eswhgOKk
Either a corresponding amount of "ha"s in relation to how many times I "ha"ed while laughing, like.. "Hahahahaa" would be an accurate representation of the laugh I did out loud.. (so I actually type what I say, it could be "BWAHAhahaaa", anything) .. or "lmao", which is used when my laugh is just small, like air being expelled through my nose, as it's really quick to type; my fingers just flow over the keys easily unlike: "lol" (which took two attempts to spell right) lmao..
Also, I like to say "roffle" sometimes :D
Bahahahhaha
or
Lolz
Lmfao.
I usually say "haha."
But I'll sometimes switch it up and say "lmao," if I'm really getting a kick out of something.
I generally use "haha" or "lol", since I feel they're the most natural.
However, if i'm in an eccentric mood i'll use roflcopter or lollerskates.
okay, you have to enlighten me here [or else i'll have to use the search engine];-)
i know lol & can guess rotfl [rolling on the floor?]
what are the others?
i just use a range of :-) to :-))) to show varying degrees of laughter/amusement ;-))
I said "lol" in public once.
Most embarrassing thing ever.
I prefer haha. Or if something is extremely funny, then; Hahahahahaha &c.
If it's drop-dead hilarious, then I put it in capslock.
I don't really like any of them. I don't use chatspeak.
I just go: Aaahaha. Or: That's so funny!
On a completely different note, I feel so weird without my badge. Like there's this part of me that's missing....
lol- nice and simple
lulz znd Imao and Imfao- don't even know what they mean
rolf- rarely use, have only used in chat rooms, saved for 'witty reparte'
