Why did Lambert decline so fast?
I thought he was a pretty decent striker at Southampton, then as soon as he signed for Liverpool he declined and became rubbish

Pretty decent striker because he was allowed enough space to score goals, in Liverpool he'll flop because Suarez, Gerrard Sturridge and Sterling will fight him for the ball.
Suarez going Madrid and Sturridge's flash in the pan season over with, Lambert will be start striker next season.
maybe a substitute in Liverpool, or maybe liverpool just want to complete striker types for the team. Don't think he would play key role in any big clubs.
