Throwing up food could mean a couple of different things. There are many different bacteria, parasites and other conditions, such as foreign body ingestion (sand, rocks, etc.) that can cause what you described. The best way to find out what happened is by taking his body to an experienced herp vet. If you still have the vomit, take that in as well. The vet can do tests to see what happened.
What type of substrate were you using? What were the temps on both sides of the tank? What were you feeding him? Were you dusting his insects with the proper supplements?
Without some more information none of us here can even imagine telling you what happened. None of us here are experienced herp vets so we can't help out too much. Please, take everything to a vet and explain what your housing situation was.
I'm very sorry for your loss, I hope everything gets better soon.
Reptiles are good at hiding an illness, that's why owners must be so diligent, and take their reptiles to the vet at the very first sign.
I am very sorry to hear that he passed. But without a necropsy the only answers we can give you are guesses. He might have been sick, he could have had a stroke (I think my monitor had one), it could be a list of other things.
a change in temperature in the house may have caused it but also it may have been hiding a deadly sickness. ALL pets chould be taken to the vet once ot twice a month.
sorry to hear it
it comaybe stress or maybey it was very very ill or temperature change.
