We had a nice long soaking rain yesterday after a couple weeks of nada, so I just went outside to see how my gorgeous, thriving garden was liking the rain. Know what I found?
My whole garden looks like it's been sprayed with herbicide and then sunburned. Everything is dying overnight, everything, just like that, even my six foot tall tomatoes and my sunflowers and my enormous three foot tall eggplant. I haven't even harvested anything yet except for two little zucchini. I have one tomato so far that is big enough to start to ripen. One. Both my plants are covered stem to stern in tiny baby tomatoes that will likely never see maturity.
I had lost two cukes to wilt a few weeks ago, but since I pulled and removed them I'd had no further issues. This doesn't look like wilt at all, and I tested the stems of a couple plants just to be sure... not wilt as far as I can tell. What is it?
Update:Well my husband went out and looked at it with me, and even the grass around my garden beds is dying-- but not the rest of the lawn. Diagnosis: somebody took weed spray out of his truck and sprayed it on my garden.
It wasn't a lack of water. I said it didn't rain for two weeks, I didn't say I had not watered for two weeks.

The most likely explanantion is that your garden is suffering from an extreme case of heat stress, taking into account your two weeks without rain.

The only times I heard of something like that was when 1- herbicide drifted over into an area that it wasn't intended for and 2- water soluble fertilizer (like Miracle Gro) was broadcasted onto the soil. The granules were too potent and the plants receive fertilizer burn. If you didn't have any type of that activity going on, do you have any neighbors that have that going on? If neither, you might want to start thinking who might want to trash your garden.
a million) What if the Prophecy had 'replaced' because of the fact of a few Angels or Nephilim; as Jacob shows us that there is a conflict to prevail interior the advantages given? remote from Me is written relating to the final judgements of the sturdy Maker who destroys the works of the evil one. subsequently, He replace into waiting to fulfill it precise away! The Lamb that replace into slain earlier the principles of the earth and The Prophecy replace into that human beings might devour it.
One swallow does not make a Summer,, conversely one shower of rain does not satisfy the drought in your garden. Obviously your garden has done well in previous years, so it is not a lack of care,or experience, but in relation to the Cukes, Americans eat 26 BILLION of these every year, so if the problem is related to the cukes then maybe this needs reporting to the relative authority.
It's only the very beginning of tomato season. I haven't started harvesting mine either. Late July thru August is tomato time.
And if you had a big soaking rain just yesterday, all your plants are probably heavy with rain and laying on the ground. Not dying. Just give them time. Check on them again the next sunny day you have - I guarantee they will not look so bedraggled.
The fact that everything died suddenly, even the grass, sure sounds like herbicide.
If someone sprayed weed killer, my first reaction would be, who in your neighborhood is really P o'd at you?
Is someone trying to poison you via your garden?
Do you have a yard Nazi in your burg?
No rain for 2 weeks? sounds like death by thirst.
