why does my 2002 dodge stratus steering wheel shake when im braking, and driving very fast?
every time i use my brakes my steering wheel shakes. and when i drive really fast the steering wheel starts to shake.. my repair guy said i need some lower arm control bushing.. but im not sure?
Bushings do wear out and it wouldn't hurt to check brake rotors too. Rotors that are overheated will warp and cause steering wheel vibration when brakes are applied, severely warped rotors will SOMETIMES cause steering vibration at high speed.
as "dont know everything" said the bushings could be worn, but the tires need to be balanced and the front end may need to be alligned, and the brake rodors could be warped if they make your car shake when you are braking. i hope i helped and good luck

Your repair guy could be right - Lower control arm bushing
It could also be your caster alignment angle, if you have
excessive positive caster it will cause your wheel to shimmy
at high speeds.

Your repair guy isn't correct. I would definitely assume that would be your alignment (40$ fix). Either that or you may need new tires (300$ fix)
