the problem im having is when im tuning my sub with the trunk open the bass sounds great in the car but when i close the trunk it losses almost half its sound production. by the way i mean inside the car in the front seat.
ok so my system consists of one of my 2 cerwin vega vega subwoofers they are older with the orange v rubber. i just bought a vega stroker 1000.1 amp and it powers it with no problem.
both the subs have been tested and they both do the same thing i am just wondering why i loose so much sound in car when i close the trunk. im hoping the subs are not blown.
any ideas

just play around with which way you point them. no one car is equal
They just don't have enough air room to mess with in your trunk.
Try rotating your subs around in your trunk... Face them towards you, give your subs the most room possibly in front of them
Try laying them down and facing them to the top of your trunk man.
Trust me, it makes a huge difference.
