BCC---which stands for "blind courtesy copy"---is used when you want to hide the names/addresses of who you are sending to, so NO ONE can see who you are sending to.
Yahoo does NOT require an entry on the TO line---and if you enter all addresses on BCC, the mail will be delivered showing "Undisclosed Recipients" on the TO line.
IF you put some addresses on TO----and some addresses on BCC----only those addresses on TO will be seen (by your recipients), while the addresses on BCC will be hidden and not seen by anyone.
The CC line (which stands for "courtesy copy")---is merely an extension of the TO line, and hides nothing. Everybody sees what's entered there-- (just like the TO line).
Both CC and BCC are used to send the same message to more than one user. When using CC, every recipient can tell who else got the message. When using BCC, those addresses are not disclosed, but since Yahoo requires you to enter at least one visible address in the address bar, the mail sender should enter his own address as the first recipient.
