I started bleeding from a miscarriage on Oct. 6. My husband and I started trying again a week after when the bleeding stopped. I did ovulate two weeks after as usual. I was sure that I was pregnant this time around again with many typical symptoms. My period was due to start today (tuesday). Yesterday afternoon I started light bleeding. I had cramping but not heavy cramps like I usually have with my period. Late last night a had some heavy bleeding and then again this morning with heavy bleeding. Now I am very lightly spotting again. Obviously this is my period and not another pregnancy but I was just wondering if anyone else who had a miscarriage had a strange experience like this and if you had any explanation for it.
Update:thanks tired but I had a miscarriage the first time I got pregnant and got pregnant with my son who is now 1 year old and I was not as far along this time so I wasn't worried about it...I had an ultrasound and everything was fine

Well, it's not good to try to get pregnant right after a miscarriage because it can lead to another miscarriage. Your body is not going to to recover fully until 2 to 3 cycles of your period first. I was in a rush like you too but my doctor told me to wait 2 cycles, I waited 3 and got pregnant again on my third one and I'm now 28 wks pregnant.
I had strange bleeding too after my miscarriage, it goes from light to really heavy but my doc told me my period is trying to get back on track only so just be patient and your body will go back to normal.

Yes i had an extremly strang cycle after words. & dont listen to other people, when ever you feel ready go for it. It wont give you a higher risk of miscarriage people are full of sh*t, & the only reason why dr.s tell you to wait is so that it is easier for them to date back to when you concieved. Truthfully i tried a week after as well, the miscarriage didnt hit me untill the following month & has been hard ever since. Lots of baby dust! <3
