My IT Guy installed Windows 7 & on my new bundled system that I bought from Tiger Direct. After a while, the error message "Windows is not genuine". keeps popping up and I lose my desktop picture and my screen saver is disabled. My IT guys swears it's legit and he has tried to fix the issue twice, but the same thing happens. HELP !!! Thanks !!!

As you more or less asked this same question 4 months ago,
it would seem prudent of you to contact Microsoft Licensing for verification here.
They will quickly confirm if your 'IT guy' has installed a dodgy copy, or not.
Failing that, MS can no doubt explain why the "not genuine" issue has arisen.
If he has installed a pirated copy, report him then sue his a** off.
You can confirm the situation easily enough - immediately!!
Press
Start >> Control Panel >> System. Then scroll down the page.
If it happened 30 days after they put windows 7 on it than you will probably need to input a validation code that comes with windows 7
You can call microsoft and they will ask for your product key (this is not your license key) and can be found in the Control Panel > System section at the bottom. Microsoft will then tell you if your copy is legitimate and how to purchase a legitimate key if it is not.
Hmm i desire you probably did not purchase your homestead windows 7 off of a random guy on craigslist or ebay or torrented. homestead windows isn't authentic potential your product secret's junk. i'm positive there are diverse cracks on line on a thanks to activate it notwithstanding that is variety of volatile. confer with microsoft and perhaps they could fix your situation
