I wouldn't do it but...
Say I was to kill a child at birth. That child as a baby has committed no sin. Hence that child would have to go to heaven - how can god condemn a child that has no sin?
But I did this knowing that this child has gone to heaven - have I not given that child the best possible gift? A gift greater than life it's self?

Sin is hereditary, we are all born with it like a dent in the cake pan, our mold has been permanently damaged by Adam and Eve. The Bible states: “That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.”—Romans 5:12
This hereditary defect, or sin, cannot be seen under a microscope. “Sin” refers to a moral and spiritual deficiency that has been transmitted to us from our first parents, and it has physical consequences. However, the Bible reveals that God has provided a remedy. The apostle Paul explains: “The wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) In his first letter to the Corinthians, Paul added an assurance that was very meaningful for him: “Just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive.”—1 Corinthians 15:22.
This brings me to another point. If a person is destined for Heaven or Earth. We know that the bible teaches that those who go to heaven will rule as kings and priests over the earth however the bible shows that some get a resurrection back to the earth.
Acts 2:34: “David [whom the Bible refers to as being ‘a man agreeable to God’s heart’] did not ascend to the heavens.” But made reference to Jesus at God's side.
Matt. 11:11: “Truly I say to you people, Among those born of women there has not been raised up a greater than John the Baptist; but a person that is a lesser one in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is.” (So John did not go to heaven when he died.)
Ps. 37:9, 11, 29: “Evildoers themselves will be cut off, but those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth . . . The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”
(Proverbs 2:21) For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it.
(Matthew 5:5) “Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth
Yes, The child is entitled to a resurrection however by taking it's life you are robbing him/her of the opportunity to make a dedication and gain a righteous standing before God just as you have received and you would loose your's as murder consitutes punishment of death Rev 21:8
God has the power to resurrect. God does not condemn babies but parents can by their actions. Babies are born with sin in their genes though they themselves are not sinful. God holds parents responsible for the eventuality of their child. Other than that God will decide if and when he will resurrect anyone, including infants. Children do not go to heaven only adults do. Children will be resurrected back on earth.
Not really. It can't be a gift that you gave! For you to give a gift means that the child would have to recognize the improvement your gift brought them. At birth this simply could not happen! What you will have done is committed murder and taken God's plan into your own hands. If God wanted all of us to have the gift without life on earth first he would have done it that way.
When making assumptions like this don't forget to go to the source! It makes sense at first until we remember thats not how God wants it! He's the almighty one and we have to trust he knew what he was doing when he designed it all this way!
No you haven't because it is not your place to take away life for any reason. That is God's prerogative.
Besides, how do you know that baby has gone to heaven?
We don't go to heaven for not sinning or hell of sinning.
We are ALL, without exception, born spiritually dead in our trespasses and sins, into Satan's kingdom of darkness and on our way to hell.
Why do you think Jesus had to die on the Cross? To save us from that fate worse than death but nobody is automatically saved.
If a baby is naturally born, they have Adam's sinful nature, even if they haven't yet sinned. That's why we all have to be born again (spiritually) next time of water (baptism and Holy Spirit (John 3:5) in order to enter God's kingdom.
If a baby is born of Christian parents, then they are covered by their parents, they are considered godly offspring (Malachi 2:15) and holy (1 Corinthians 7:14) because they are sanctified even if only one parent is a true Christian believer and therefore, if they die they will go to heaven. But if a baby is born of non christian parents, they have no covering of a christian parent, they are not holy or righteous, therefore, if they die before being born again, they do not go to heaven. So it is not your right to judge or to go about deciding who and why you may kill someone. God is the wise and the only righteous Judge not us.
We're all born into sin and No. God has. He is the only one with power over the destination of one's soul. Luke 12:4. is a good example. After you kill someone your ability to harm or help them ends. God took the child to heaven you did nothing but murderer it. . Your actions can never be justified by the actions of another.
What you are talking about is from your own understanding and accordingly with the Vedas, it is wrong.
First any child that borns in this planet are sinful, they are all sinful, that is why they born here in first place. They commited good and bad activities in previous lives, what will determine he be killed at birth for example.
When the child dies he won't go to heaven, he will born again here.
If you killed the child you commited a grave sin, you will have to go to Hell after death and return to born in this planet again and maybe be killed as a child too.
God understands everything, we don't know what would happen to the baby if it died as there is nothing in the bible specifically saying about this, some people believe it would go to hell if it was not baptised but I think that's ridiculous because not only did that baby not have a choice about being baptised but that man on the cross next to Jesus was probably not baptised when jesus said to him he would be in heaven with him. But If you did that you are the one sinning you would be committing murder.
confident, yet they're going to easily blame each little thing on sin and Eve eating that apple! So no longer basically do human beings ought to go through for thousands of years for unique sin yet additionally animals too. even although funnily sufficient nature has the skill to administration itself as a meals chain, lions have enormous enamel etc. or you will get nasty solutions approximately how we are supposidly extra suitable over animals and can rule them, in different words be merciless to them because of the fact they experience no soreness.
Information about the afterlife in the Bible is so vague, sparse, and incomplete, that there is NO telling what would happen, assuming the religion is true.
