my mom and dad are fine with the fact of tattoos and pircings but my question is if your a piercer or tattoo artist what is the youngest age you can pierce or tattoo, any laws?
in most states, even if you have parental permission, it's illegal to tattoo a minor. Some states, like Idaho, you can get tattooed at 16 with parental permission.
As far as piercings go, it's mostly similar. Some places will do some simple piercings like earlobes and navels at 14 with parental permission, but you likely won't find much younger.
Piercings (at a professional place, not with a gun) I'm not sure the youngest you can get one, the youngest I have seen is 14, but you MUST have parental consent if you are under 18 to get a piercing.
Or you can go to your local tattoo/piercing parlor and see what the laws are for your state, some may vary from others.

In the states where minors are allowed to be tattooed with parental consent, it's usually sixteen. However, it's still up to the personal discretion of the shop owner, as well as the artist doing the work. My boss put a sign on the door saying 'absolutely no minors'. A lot of studios just don't want touch a minor for any reason. Shop around.
I remember I wanted one when I was 16 and the guy said as long as I had parental permission it would be ok. I decided to wait it out and got it when I was 18. But if your parents are cool with it, let them come down with you when you get it. Besides, its good to have some support when you're there.

You must be 18 to get a tattoo, no matter what.

I live in Oklahoma and I dont't think there is an age limit on piercings, but you have to be at least 17 with a parents concent to get a tattoo.
18 for tattoos.
Reputable artists won't touch you if you are minor. Even if it legal with parental consent.
Most states are starting to make it the same way for piercings.
Some states you can pierced as young as 14 with parental consent.
Depends on where you live.
Youngest would be 16 with parental consent, 18 without.
