I found out i am pregnant 4 days ago. Today, i saw brownish discharge when I wiped myself after going to the restroom. I am so afraid that this could be a miscarriage. What should I do ? I've called and left a message for my doctor

It depends on how much it is and if it keeps coming.
It is is only a small amount then do not worry, it is probably just a little old blood - I had this.
If it is persistent then it could be a "threatened miscarriage" and you should speak to your doctor. I had this brown blood for weeks before my miscarriage.
Def call the doctor. That happened to me too. I had 2 miscarriages but they where red discharge and the 3rd time I was 4 months along and had a brownish discharge and I found out I had a partial molar pregnacy. It's when you have a baby inside but also a molar is growing and slowly killing the baby. Look it up online and it can give you more info. Good luck.
I had this with both pregnancies right at 5 weeks. I miscarried the first one and had a healthy baby girl the second time. My doctor told me if there is any bleeding in the first trimester he considers it as a 50-50 chance you will miscarry until they see a heartbeat and then they stop worrying for the most part. Have your doc do an internal ultrasound they can possibly see the the heartbeat already and put your mind at ease.
I had this as well. I saw my doctor and she referred me to get an ultrasound done. The ultrasound showed her heartbeat and everything was fine. Slight brown/pink discharge is normal during pregnancy. If it continues or gets heavier then start worrying! Either way you should definitely get it checked by a doctor.
Just wait for you doctors response. Thats all I have to say.
Hope for the best :) & congrats!
