You'll need about 5 notebooks (social studies, science, english, spanish and algebra) but you should buy around 10 so you'll have more if you fill one up. Binders for each core class. Pencils, obviously. Black or blue pens for English, red pens for correcting, colored pencils for projects, and a pencil bag.
In a list:
Basics:
7-10 notebooks
5-6 binders (1 in)
Pencils (I prefer mechanical because I hate having to sharpen wooden ones)
Black or blue pens
Red pens
Colored pencils (they're useful for projects and some classwork)
Pencil bag
Erasers
5-10 Looseleaf paper packs
Optional:
Folders (for keeping assignments. However, I find myself using the binder pockets)
Highlighters
Page Markers (for books)
Tab Dividers (for binders)
PE:
A shirt or two
Shorts
Sweatpants (winter or for comfort)
Good gym shoes
Deodorant (so you don't smell)
Hair brush (if you're a girl)
Extra socks (if you're wearing flipflops or so)
Art:
High school art is a little bit different then middle school art. You're set on your own for most of the assignments. Your teacher may provide most of the supplies, but considerbuying:
Shading pencils
Kneaded and Gummy Erasers
Good handheld pencil sharpener
Drawing book (usually 13x9)
Good coloring pencils (not ones like Crayola!)
One major organization tip is to clean out your binder at the end of each month!!! I always forget so I have a huge mess of assignments that I don't need anymore! But don't throw away things you think you may need.
Take good notes, don't plagarize, and prioritize.
Good luck!
You should get a three ring binder, a lot of loose leaf paper, a few dividers, maybe a scientific calculator. You'll be using it later on anyway. Black and/or blue pens. Pencils. Tape whiteout, one or two spiral notebooks and composition books, and post it notes for the hell of it. Anyhow, your teachers should give you a syllabus that'll tell you what you need for their class.
Extra advice: be nice. Not a pushover. Don't get into fights. Don't start drama. Join a club or sport.
You may want to have a light weight jacket for classes that might be cool to you. My students always tells me that my room is cold. I don't think it is but they do. The other lists are good advice do take something to write with and on. You won't need much but you might be taking notes in a math class or some other class. Good Luck!
Ill see u in spanish 2
You don't need anything for the first day
All of you teachers give u a supply list... Why the fk do so many people ask this
Pencils, pens, a few marble books, backpack, a bottle of water, ruler, calculator, art supplies, glasses if you can't see well, and money
