I'm planning to study in Australia and I have two options;

1) major in women's studies or Asian studies at UQ

2) major in international relations at USC

Actually, I'm interested in working in academic fields, and pursuing Advanced degrees in USA after graduation. I'm more inclined toward politics rather than literature(which leaves me to USC), but afraid of wasting too much money on unknown institution. Will please anyone give me an advice regarding the future career? If anyone has been to any of these two respective institutuions or majoring in one or the other, I'd really appreciate your sincere advice. No nasty or naughty responses please.
