Yes they are real disorders. My boyfriend has ADD and he'll be doing something and suddenly blank out and just start staring at nothing. Although I understand that most people aren't knowledgeable on the brain, it confuses me that people can't understand how a person can have a different attention style or thinking style. Everyone has a different brain, and no one is "normal", we are all somewhere on the spectrum of different brain types.
