my mid to lower back has been not really aching, but I feel it now for a little over 3 weeks. I have no idea why but I did not do any strenuous workouts (actually no workout) did not hit it on anything. I have been taking warm bath, but that does nothing. At first I thought it could be due to my oncoming period at the time (2-12-07) noticed it on 2-10-07, so I ignored it, even though I never had back pains in none of my periods. now my period is actually due 3-3, or 3-4 and I still feel it . Has anyone ever dealt with this before, or can give me a general idea as to what it could be. I do not have medical insurance, so I just need to see if anyone knows if it can come to the point where I would need to see a doctor, what is the worst that can happen dealing with your back. I doubt it is pregnancy because I took a test and it was neg, then again we will see because my period is due 1-2 days. but like I said before, doubt it, no symptoms of preg or period

I highly doubt that the back ache has anything to do with pregnancy. Most back aches caused by pregnancy are aches that you get during the middle and last trimester. It's not really associated with early pregnancy symptoms. Especially if you felt that pain before your last period. If you had a period, then you aren't pregnant, so the back pain likely had nothing to do with that.
But, if it does continue to hurt badly, then I would advise seeing a doctor. Often there is little doctors can do about back pain. They can give you some pain pills to help with you deal with it, but as far as fixing it, there aren't many options. Use a heating pad or ice--whichever soothes it--try taking an OTC pain reliever like Ibuprofen or Advil; it may relieve the pain a little. If the pain gets to the point where it is interfering with your sleep or other normal daily activities, then it's definitely time to see a doctor.
This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Try out some home remedies. You can also look for information in the web that give you home remedies. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html
