Hi I need the the best pc parts available in 1999. They need to be compatible with the Intel SE440BX-2 motherboard.
I need 1999s best Processor, RAM, 3d Video Card, Sound Card and Hard Disk, all available in 1999 and compatible with the Intel SE440BX-2 motherboard.

The best i could find in 99 was a Pentium 3 processor at 450 mhz, I have an AWE64 sound card. 128 meg of pc100 sd ram.
Not sure about which video card, but i had a voodoo 2 graphics card which daisy chained onto the 8 meg video card i had. My hard drive was 6.4 gig.
why would you buy old technology, it probably costs as much as new components plus the fact they operate slowly and consume more power, probably cheaper to buy a new computer
