I'm a teen and I'm 5'2. I weigh 120-125 pounds.
I have horrible eating habits. I starve for awhile and get to 114-115 pounds, feel great, and then binge uncontrollably. I gain the 5 pounds back in literally one night!
I feel so disgusted. I just binged again right now.. I feel suicidal.
I hate my body and my eating habits but how do I escape this vicious cycle? Please help me, this has been so hard. I try to over come it, but I always fail. I don't think I can alone. I've tried SO MANY TIMES! Please answer and help me. :/

Binge eating can be really painful. I know that feeling of wanting to be thin with every ounce of your being and at the same time getting over taken with totally out of control binges that feel like a savage has taken over your body!
Binge eating is the direct result of two things- dieting and emotional eating. Wait, isn't dieting supposed to be the answer? It is scientifically proven that restricting what you eat leads to gasping for food and when people use dieting as a strategy it fails 99.5% of the time. The other reason we overeat is to change how we are feeling. It sounds like you have a lot of stress and would probably really enjoy life more if you had some great skills to hop over the obstacles that are getting you down.
I have free videos on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/josielenore that go into this in more detail.
I also have a book called How to Have Your Cake and Your Skinny Jeans Too which you can check out here: http://www.thingenious.com/
You absolutely can stop binge eating. There are step-by-step skills you can learn to manage emotions without cupcakes. The great part is not only do you end up thin, you learn skills to make your life amazing while you're at it! In fact two of the tools that help you stop binge eating also are scientifically proven in psychological research to alleviate depression. I used to struggle with depressed thinking and it could get really scary at times. Now I know I will not return to that habit of thinking because the tools have taught me a way that is much better. In the same way as when I learned to walk I knew I wouldn't be 'tempted' to return to crawling because I had a skill that just worked better.
There absolutely is hope!!
Warmly,
Josie
honey i did the same thing as you did and honey its not the end of the world dont end ur life your a teen you didnt experience life yet. Life has so much to bring you okay. So what i did is clear my thoughts and stopped caring about my weight well i ate but also exercised. I think what you should do is go to a physcologist & talk to him. Also to become less obsessive with weight. I'll pray for you and stay strong.
If you don't starve yourself but eat a healthy, well balanced diet with OCCASIONAL treats then you will loose the weight slowly and not be tempted to binge so the weight will stay off.
Binging is usually a responce to excessive dieting.
Stop starving yourself. You starve and you trigger your binges. Try to eat normal, 1200-1500 calories a day and exercise. It's hard you have to fight the urge to binge.
Your healthy weight IS between 120-125 lbs. I don't see why you seem to hate being at that weight.
discipline yourself and seek some medical advice...
I became belemic...
