Im looking to buy a blue eyed dapple dachshund and im wondering when dapples have 2 blues eyes does that mean he will have eyesight or hearing problems?
Update:
Pamela is said it is NOT a double dapple. read more carefully
Pamela is right. No self respecting breeder would willing breed double defaults. Blue eyes and dapple are both defaults.
Maybe you might find one puppy that was bred by a pupymill or byb, or a freak pup in a normally great breeder, but it's going to be hard.
Having two defaults, chances are the dog will have some sort of sensory problems, like hearing or seeing. If you ever find such a pup, you'll need to check their hearing and eyesight as well as smell at least twice a year.
Truly, your dog is a black and tan dapple. The term "silver dapple" is not proper and is more frequently used by bybs and puppymills. The colour of your dog is black and tan and the color has been modified by using the dapple sample. That is the place the change is. Dapple will not be a color, it is a pattern that influences the colour, something that might be. Now, as to the eyes, it is fairly original for dapples to have eyes with blue, inexperienced, or golden areas. This doesn't mean that the dog is going to be blind. The different colors are considering the fact that the gene which creates the dapple pattern also explanations dappling of the iris of the attention. Now and again, with dachshunds who've a double dose of the dapple gene, there are eye and ear abnormalities. More quite often, this will probably be noticeable in eyes that aren't the same dimension. Deafness and blindness on one or all sides of the pinnacle are feasible. In the event you detect indicators that your dog might have a sight or hearing problem, then take your canine to a vet who's experienced with the dapple sample to have it appropriately diagnosed. Hopefully, your canine goes to be simply best with average sight and hearing. Good luck

Why in the world do you want a dog with double defaults.
You could NEVER breed this dog even if you wanted to.
