Okay, so here's the deal. I pierced my lingual frenulum (tongue web) myself. I'm 14 and I used a bellybutton ring because that's all I had, only I took the little ball off of one and put it on the opposite side of a ring with a little ball on the other side. I think the bellybutton ring is okay though because it's swelled a little. My parents have NO IDEA. My question is, could I walk into like Claire's or somewhere that sells eyebrow rings (because I heard that's normally what's used) and purchase them without my mom having to come if I show them my frenulum piercing? You usually have to show ID that you're 18 or over. I really don't want my parents finding out, which is why I pierced the frenulum instead of my actual tongue. I love this piercing. I just want to get a smaller ring for it. Please help! Thanks in advance :)
