i'm currently moving out for the first time and i'm wondering if there is a "checklist" any where on the net for essential needs and necessities that need to be taken care of i.e. health insurance, and are there any financial tips for optimizing the income to my new household..?

Your question is kind of vague and you might consider rewording it a little. If I understand you correctly you are young, moving into your own home for the first time? Are you renting or buying? I would suggest you avoid credit card debt. Use only what you can afford to pay off when the credit card bill comes in. If you are renting, start saving to buy. Find an area you'd like to buy in, call a Realtor and see what homes in that area are selling for and then plan to save about %5-%10 (or more) for a down payment in a few years. I don't know of any checklist but then again I'm not sure of what your question is either.
