apparently the government is considering taking farmland to use in a memorial for this flight...But isn't it a little odd to forcefully take away a person's land? esp. considering the act of bravery by the people who died in the flight....? opinions?
Update:or rather an arbitrary decision
Update 3:the one owner has 275 acres...160 acres is a square mile
Update 5:that's about 13 sq. miles or about a 3 1/2 mile square

I tend to agree.
While the Flight 93 victims were (presumably) quite brave, they were simply people caught up by events beyond their control. I say that not to diminish their deeds nor their memories. But rather to point out that they, like so many others that terrible day and every day before and since 9/11 have perished under tragic circumstances.
A monument is indeed called for and perhaps (just perhaps) the seizure of the land consisting of the immediate crash site is acceptable. But a sprawling 200 acre "macabre theme park" is a bit much.
I think a memorial is fine, taking someones land to do it, not so fine. If the person wishes to donate or sell to the gov for the memorial, fine, if not, find another suitable place for the memorial and move on?
Eminent area is robbery. undemanding and straightforward robbery. What a shame. It makes me ill to think of they could scouse borrow someones land to make a park. i visit pass to just to piss on what the government has stolen.
thy should use it for a Memorial to all those Soldiers that gave their Lives for the False Flag Disaster that was created by the criminals, Bush and his Administration~!
