I want to go to a decent film school where I can learn about post-production, and film making techniques. This is my passion and I love it, I want to learn more about it, but my grades in high school were barely passing. Is all hope lost?
Update:I live in Texas here 70 a D-, and is barley passing

Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie are high school dropouts, but they found a way to make films. You won't get into any of the top film schools with your grades unless you have exceptional film footage to submit with your application. But you might be able to go into a state university program. Ultimately your success will be determined by your talent, your determination and your hard work. If you are easily discouraged, choose another career.
I might propose going to school..I do not wanna sound like a father or mother, however I quite believe its the great choice if you'll be able to have enough money it. A school schooling will make you a good rounded individual and open up doorways to extra task possibilities. I might propose choosing a most important that you're concerned with however could also be in call for..do not simply take the effortless manner out and decide on the most important thats the simplest! take a type of profession scan that let you know what you must be centered for your character, advantage, and pursuits and pass from there.
If barely passing means C-D then you'll probably have a hard time. Doesn't mean it won't be worthwile
