Whenever I sit up straight in a chair I eventually end up in a lower almost laying like position. It physically hurts to sit up. Also if I sit up for extended amount of time it feels like part of my tail bone is hurting.
I'm around probably between 115-130lbs, 5'7", slim/slender, and just turned 20. My eating routines are unscheduled and unplanned, can consist of anything from 1-2 meals consisting of either 1 small meal and some filler food to eating 2-3 times a day consisting of 1-2 small meals and some junk/filler food. I haven't been able to weigh myself since I moved, but before the move I weighed around 115 I believe. I don't work out at all anymore(other than the day to day activities), although I've made "plans" to start again.
I'm not entirely sure when these symptoms started showing up, possibly 6 months - 1 year ago. Possibly more. I'm not in terrible shape I can run and do everyday functions, and other than my forever changing eating habits, I don't understand why it's happening now. I plan on making a visit to a chiropractor, but I have to work for that.

In all honesty, it's probably because you usually slouched.
I felt the same way when I started band, my lower back and tail bone would kill me. You could be sitting up wrong too. You should feel a slight pressure in your lower back, and practically pushing your chest out. I felt the same way, but it's just been from slouching usually.
Try doing back stretches on a daily basis. Like twisting your back, to try and the flexibility you probably don't have, so that you can sit up straighter.
Hoped this helped :-)
