When I was at school, I think there were 109 elements in the periodic table. Now, more. But I find some elements have only ever been produced once, and never again eg 110, 111. Perhaps they were messages from God ? (We have to believe they were produced because scientists never lie and would never ask anyone just to believe, or have faith, without proof. That is not scientific. That would be almost...religious)
Update:Hey, Erlampo, nice effort. did you think of that all by yourself ? Genius, pure genius, such originality

Funny thing, I thought I phrased this to be anti non-believer, but I'm copping it from both sides.

I lol'd all over myself.
Those elements above 109 were all created in a lab. However I think by the current electron model, there can only be 118 elements.
You will have to make your case first. What are element 110 and 111? How do you know they don't qualify as elements? Why are they contradictions in science? More details please.
Edit: Dog is god spelled backword, and live is evil spelled backword, why live like a dog? To obey? Actually, my dogs are my best friends.
An element is nothing more or less than a specific configuration of protons, electrons, or neutrons. It makes perfect sense to me that scientists would be able to simulate an atom, though I am sure the technology is ridiculously expensive.
it truly is a sturdy question, something for the nonbelievers to seem up, because on the precise of all this there replaced into something that got here about over the skies of Europe that replaced into seen throughout Europe and Asia. my own grandparents were a witness to this and it replaced into stated in each and each of the records papers. A thunderhead of white clouds rolled right into a blue cloudless sky and separated revealing a decide on light fixtures emanating from it for a era of time and then disappeared. My grandmother replaced into at domicile in Austria and stated it contained in the jap sky, my grandfather replaced into in France and stated it contained in the jap sky. They informed my mom that when it regarded the persons bumped into their houses and hid for an afternoon because they theory it replaced into Christ coming. i'm now no longer Catholic yet I do trust that this stuff were from God.
Wow. Just... wow.
See the difference between the bible and science is that science progresses while the bible stays the same.
"(We have to believe they were produced because scientists never lie and would never ask anyone just to believe, or have faith, without proof. That is not scientific. That would be almost...religious)"
this is just nonsense.
Isolated scientists lie all the time. Witness the recent cloning fiascos in South Korea.
But notice that they were found out because their results could not be validated or didnt' jive with other groups results.
It's not what one scientist, or many scientists say. It's what is peer-reviewed and duplicatable by anyone who cares to duplicate that matters.
But if so, what the hell was he trying to say?
Scientists lie and falsify their data all the time. They are human and don't pretend to be anything else.
What?
Oh, sorry, I'm supposed to be looking like your opinion matters aren't I?
These science vs religion "debates" always bore the living truffles out of me.
As do their 'presenters'.
Al gods are imaginary, while scientists are real. Imaginary non-beings cannot really send messges to anyone. You might consider that creation of new elements make scientists superior to imaginary gods.
I thought they were man-made elements.
