Ok so I am really new to growing vegetables. I have grown tomatoes and hot peppers before and now I am branching out. Is it easier to grow spinach in a container than in the ground?
I would think so. You'd have more control over it's growth. I haven't had luck growing large annuals in pots, but smaller ones seem to do well. Provided they have plenty of room to grow and proper conditions.
I think I'll try that too. Maybe throw in some kale and winter density lettuce.
I don't think it makes much difference really. Swiss Chard and spinach beet are easier to grow so you may like to consider those as they are very similar.Swiss chard is also very attractive with bright red or yellow stems.
