It looks like his problems are with his count and motility. Normal counts need to be 20 million/ml and higher and normal motility should be around 40-50%. These numbers aren't too low that you can't have a baby, but it might depend on the route you take to get pregnant. You may need some fertility treatments such as IUI or IVF to achieve a pregnancy. Just as a frame of reference here are our results (10 million, 20% motility, 8% morph). We were told we only had a 1% chance every month of getting pregnant on our own while a normal fertile couple has a 20% chance every month. We were unable to get pregnant on our own after 3 years of trying while I was charting AND we were having well timed intercourse. We ended up having to do IVF with ICSI and I'm now waiting to take a blood test to find out if we are finally pregnant. While it is possible for you to get pregnant naturally even with his numbers (it only takes one sperm!), I want to also be realistic about the situation.
Good luck to you both!
This semen analysis is done for motility and count of sperm The report is normal The doctor who has prescribed this is supposed to explain you To have a baby wife has also to undergo fertility test It may consume many years and great amount of money
30% motility means 3 out of 10 of his semen are able to swim well enough to make it to the egg. So you are looking at a lower chance of getting pregnant, but that doesnt mean it will never happen! Everything will work out, you just get to have more fun making the baby :)
My husband was 15 too. They refered him to a urologist just to double check everything is okay. He hasn't been yet, so I don't know the final outcome. My gyno said that he thinks my husband was fine and it might have just been a bad batch. He said he would have scheduled a retest and that fifteen wasnt too low. So I guess it really just depends on the Dr. No, his count isn't too low to have a baby. It just might make it a little more difficult. Good luck to you!
-my husband and I are going threw this right now but he hasnt had his analysis done yet. I am not sure about the percentage but it does seem pretty low.
