I am signing up to take an Honors Physics class next year.
How much math would be involved? [which kinds]
I heard it's algebra based, which I'm good at. But I don't know if I would need to know other types of math [trigonometry, etc.]
Any help would be great!
Update:I have not taken any trigonometry classes. Should I read up on basic trig. before the class?

high school physics is very easy. you'll just need to know your basic algebra, trigonometry and a portion of calculus. it's way way easier compared to college. trust me i've taken up 4 physics subjects already. well... good luck to you!
Well, from my perspective, I can say that I'll hopefully be taking AP Physics B next year, and that class does not require calculus but does include precalculus/trigonometry.
physics is the science of calculus. i dont know how much physics you will get into but a lot of physics requires calc. but if your school doesnt require that then you should know algebra 2 and trig.
and yes theres trig in physics.
trig is useful.
vectors will be to.
