I'm very upset i just saw one of my two dwarf hamsters dead in a corner of the cage. i dont understand what happened since i didnt shift any of the toys inside of the cage, but my hamster looks kind of squished :( I dont understand how it could of died but a few days earlier i did hear a lot of squealing between my two hamsters. How could one of them just be lying there dead? A fight? Any answers from personal experiences would be helpful.

I don't think it was a fight. Two hamsters of the same species don't normally fight to the death.
If they had been fighting, you probably would have seen one of them bleeding a little; but they don't kill each other.
Most likely the hamster died of some illness that was not noticeable. It can be hard to tell. It may not have been a contagious illness. It may even have been something the hamster was born with, but didn't show up until now. But in case the illness was contagious, you should probably clean the cage thoroughly. Hamsters don't have diseases that affect people, but it could affect the other hamster.
Sometimes, especially with small animals like hamsters, you never find out what they died of.
Obviously it wasn't anything you did.
If you see any blood or wounds on your hamster then it could have been from a fight.
Do you have a very tall cage? Sometimes people get cages for hamsters that are over four stories tall---if that is the case, then is it a possibility that your hamster could have fallen from the top level of the cage?
How old is the hamster? If your hamster is about two years old, he/she probably died from old age. If you are right about them fighting, it could have been the stress that have accumulated over time that killed your hamster. I'm sorry for your lost though.
