The silver "melt value" is a bit over $4. (First link) But the coin is almost certainly worth more than that.
It is not a particularly rare coin (over 19 million were minted), but it will have some numismatic value.
My Red Book tells me that coin in extra fine condition is worth $10.00. (Many other quarters from that era in EF condition are listed at $7.50.
What is extra fine condition? Extremely Fine ("EF" "XF") - Light wear is clearly visible on the high points of the coin. The design devices are still clear. Mint luster or "shine" is still visible, but worn. XF40 to XF45. Note the wear on the tips of the wings. Click on photo to enlarge the image to the full coin. Mint luster may start to show degradation at this stage.
See the second link.
Don't spend it, but selling it wouldn't be very profitable. Getting $10, even if actually EF, might be tough since Red Book values tend to be high.
If really nice, in mint state condition (shiny with no wear, pits or scratches) it could fetch $60, or more.

Enjoy it!!
Unfortunately, they're pretty common, and not worth much over their silver value unless they have almost no wear.
Silver value of the coin is about $3.50
