how to hook up cassette recorder and cd player to stereo?
I am recording cds on my cassette recorder via my stereo system. while I can moniter the cassettes while I am recording I am unable to listen to them afterwards with the current connection set up without changing all the wiring set up. The stereo has a tape out, tape, aux, phono,tape out, tape moniter. I have the cassette-play to the stereo tape-monitor. The cd player has a play-out which I have to the cassette deck Record-In. There are no more line connections available on the cd player or the cassette deck. Is there a way I can listen to the cassettes I have recorded without changing all the wiring back?

Connect the CD player to the Aux input jacks,
and set the receiver's selector to that input.
Connect the cassette deck's Record (Input) jacks
to the receiver's Tape Out (Record) jacks.
Connect the cassette deck's Play (Output) jacks
to the receiver's Tape Monitor (Play) jacks.
Set the receiver's Tape Monitor switch to ON.
To listen to other sources, set the Tape Monitor switch to OFF.
