Doctors mis-diagnosed my mother. There are many malpractice suits out there, and I suggest you don't listen to him.

Hormones, there are side effects. One is hair loss. So, I suggest you don't listen to him. Find another doctor.

Not everyone have the same genes. You obviously are slower than your peers. I weighed 85 lbs. all my life, until I turned 50's. But I'm also Asian, and women in my group are slower & smaller when it comes to development than other parts of the country, one reason because of our diet . . . .but we're not stupid, many people from Asia are good in science & math, and you hardly see many Asian as homeless.

They mean that you seem too young for your age. As in, you may hit puberty late or you're short in stature etc... Point is, they have to check on your progress so they can make sure you develop into a normal adult.
