right your cervix is long for you to go into labour it has to shorten for dilation to take place.

4cm long - 0% effaced

3cm long - 25% effaced

2cm long - 50% effaced

1cm long - 75% effaced

paper thin - 100% effaced

so my question was

how long would it take for it to shorten and flaten and become 100% effaced but everyone was getting the wrong end of the stick thinking i was an none educated fellow pupil lol telling me to go to read books to educate myself, instead i just did't elaberate what i ment in great detail so, there for no one was understanding me lol.
