Whenever i run, after a very short time frame, i get out of breath, and soon after my lungs hurt. (usually within seconds of stopping.) Then, I have to wait several minutes. I'm supposed to be "borderline asthmatic", but iv'e never heard of this. And my body isn't tired, its just the lung problem. Is it borderline asthma or something else? Can anyone please help me?
Update:It doesn't seem like i CAN'T breathe, like my lungs are constricting, i just start breathing heavily. Could it be from my past illnesses (see above detail insert) and my bronchitis and "borderline" asthma? [is that even real?]
Update 3:oh, and i will get to a respitory specialist. Sorry if the way i worded it was confusing. I appreciate the input though.

It depends on your age. I need to clarify this: what do you mean my your lungs hurt? If you get shortness of breath after exercise, then you most likely have exercise-induced asthma. Your doctor should have prescribed you inhalers so you could use before you exercise. If get have chest pain or other symptoms, then it is a clue to something more serious. Please seek medical help.
Some asthma is induced by athletics. This I know because I have attended pulmonary re-hab after being diagnosed with emphysema, so I learned a lot about my condition and also about other respiratory diseases such as asthma.
Emphysema sufferers get out of breath very easily even after walking any distance and for some just by washing hair.
You could always go back to your GP and ask if you could be referred to a respiratory specialist at the hospital who will be able to tell you precisely what you may be suffering from.
Sometimes taking salbutomol inhaler before exercise can help by opening up the airways again seek professional advice about medication.
if you're over 12 and feature in no way had an bronchial asthma assault, you would not have bronchial asthma, for starters. second, if you're thin, and get run down if you do not devour each and every three.five hrs, or so, you will have a slight blood sugar dis order, inflicting method fatigue, and consequently "worn out respiring" should you start to wheeze while exercise totally, you can also do not forget assessments for emphysema, or cystic fibrosis. rapid record for lungs:marshmellow root , fenugreek, ephedra, ginger, espresso(no sugar, or substitutes exc. honey!)tea, gotu kola nut, licorice, dong qui, and a couple of others
theres no such thing as being a boarder line asthmatic.you either have it or not.i would get a second option.
discuss this with your doctor and ask if you need a "rescue inhaler" for your acute symptoms.
Sounds like cystic fibrosis.
