Ok, so I put modern warfare 2 into my xbox. I go to the dashboard under My Xbox and click the icon to play the game. The xbox didnt even realize a disk was in! All it said was "open tray", as if there was no disk inside. I opened and closed the tray, still didnt recognize that there was a disk. I then put a different game in, and my xbox recognizes the disk and plays. Im pretty sure its not my xbox, but why does it not even recognize the Modern Warfare 2 disk when it is in my xbox. I checked the modern warfare disk and there was no scratches. Any ideas how it can be fixed?

Well if it is not the disc it's self then it is your disc drive. I would try another game see if it isn't that specific game. But if it is your disc drive you will need to call Microsoft.
You need to clean and calibrate your 360's disk player. I have gotten this error before and took apart my 360 (it was out of warranty) and opened up the disk player. After i opened it (you can see tutorials how to open your disk player by googling it) i removed the motor off it and cleaned all the grease and grime off the spindles and gears using rubbing alcohol. Make sure before doing any of this you must make sure Microsoft will not replace your disk player. You may also have to pot tweak your 360's laser which means strengthen it to make it read disks better(you can find out how to do this by going to http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/409908... I wouldnt suggest doing this if your 3 year warranty rrod is still active. Because by opening your 360 voids the warranty.
No, you could no longer burn cutting-edge conflict 2 on a sparkling disk with out having first gained a suitable image of it and whether you probably did burn it, you will not have the skill to play it with out modding your Xbox 360, it is extremely lots trackable and a bannable offense via Microsoft.
