She doesnt actually crawl. She just pushes her self backwards. What could I do to help her crawl forwards?
Update:Jamie: Should I wait until shes a little older than 6 months to try the toy she can push? I worry about her falling forward and the toy rolling away and her getting hurt.
How ever, she is rather strong for her age. If we stand her up and put her hands on something she can hold on to and let go, she can stand like that for a little bit.

Get her a toy to push around and she will eventualy stand up with it and push it. stand her up and have her hold on to it and let go. after she relizes what to do she will do it on her own.
Not really sure. Try putting toys out of her reach and encourage her to crawl and get them. Btw. My mom said I crawled backwards too and I turned out normal. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
it truly is straightforward: you're literally not meant to reveal her to move slowly in any respect. She'll determine it out. Or not, and bypass immediately to strolling, it truly is effective too. She's discovered a fashion to get the position she needs to bypass. it would not count number if it truly is by ability of crawling ahead, pushing backwards, rolling round or scooting on her bum, she's cellular besides.
Its quit common for infants to do this. They just have not figured it all out quit yet. I wouldn't give her a toy that rolls or moves easy she will only end up falling foreword and bonking herself/and or loosing the toy, and getting mad about it. She won't do this for long, they figure it out pretty quick. As for toys find one she likes and place it just out of her reach. Sit in front of her and encourage her to come to you, in any case don't worry about it it will happen when shes ready, then you won't be able to keep up with her.
this happened to my baby bro and cousin. it is much easier for them to go backwards. soon she will crawl. put her in a crawling position and urge her foward with a toy or something. i think in about 2 months she will realy crawl. i call this "pre crawling" because babies are getting used to getting around on their own.
Put a toy in front of her and get someone to put their hand behind her feet she will catch on to how to do it by herself soon dont stress it too much
She is probly possessed I would tell you to put her straight and hold away candy in front of her and if she crawls right give her the candy
she a crazy mofo
