Hi i have a Bichon Frise puppy (nearly 14 weeks old) She haves the Bichon Blitz moments where she runs back and forth like crazy barking and growling, I haven't a problem with this obviously but she has been getting them between 10pm-11pm,living where i am with children in bed and neighbours etc its not a good time to have them. What i was wondering was should i stop her during the evening as she gets so wound up or shall i walk her ?? Any advice of what to do would be gratefully received but no sarcasm please as i am only trying to help my puppy! Thanks in advance =)

All dogs need exercise. Even small ones. Try exercising her more. My bluetick coonhound pup at 9 months old still gets those. We call them the after dinner crazies. He seems to get very wound up as soon as we bring him back inside after he eats. His only last a few laps before he settles down to digest but that is likely because we make sure he gets the proper amount of exercise. Obviously, your bichon won't need as much exercise as my bluetick but she does need exercise. That is very likely the issue. She is also still a baby. Most puppies get the crazies. Try setting up a loose schedule for her. My boys both (9 months old and 8 years old) have an internal alarm clock and they fall asleep about the same time every night. It really helps and it would be good for your pup since she gets the crazies late at night.
Your puppy may not be getting enough exercise and even though she is still very young she needs to know who is boss,it is never to early to start training.
Be firm with her and take her for a good walk as late as possible to get rid of her excess energy.
needs training, exercise and supervision
just running off excess energy
