I put Left 4 Dead into my Xbox 360 Slim console, and it said the disc can not be read. I cleaned the disc, and tried again, still nothing. I tried it in a different console, it works perfectly. I cleared the cache, nothing. I tried different discs, the reader works just fine, except for a few of my games, but they all work on other consoles. These Games include: Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Fallout: New Vegas, and any original xbox classic game. I have no Idea what is going on here.
Update:Like I said, It reads other games and even movies just fine. The laser works on EVERY other game I put in there.
Update 3:Quite honestly, I am not willing to accept it needs service by a tech. Everything works, just not at the same time.
Update 5:RESOLVED: F**k my f**king life. It's my hard drive! I don't know how, but when it's out, it works. When it's in, it doesn't. WHAT THE F**K?

the laser that reads your discs has moved into a wrong place and you need to take apart your xbox, WHILE ITS OFF, re-adjust the laser, clean it, and it should work. Otherwise you should call xbox support
attempt getting some toothpaste including colgate or something and spreading a layer over the GTA4 disk. permit it sit down for like 5-10 minutes and then wash all of it of advantageous and robust (with water). then attempt it. i take advantage of this for each disk that is going undesirable for me. by no skill failed. works like a allure,
