I did a workout yesterday and I woke up this morning and my quads were hurting like F*CK and my mom thinks I am lying. I'm not but she doesn't believe me. So I am just wondering what this could be. Well every time I walk, stand up, or sit down it hurts. Like feelings like a strain. Is it a pull or tear?

It's most likely neither. Yup, sounds like over-fatigue to me, too. Soak in a hot epsom salt bath before bed tonight. Use ice therapy for the pain and swelling this evening, then alternate ice and heat tomorrow. After a couple of days, GENTLY begin stretching the quads to pain tolerance.
You most likely just over did it, don't do that again. Don't train your legs again until they are pain free and ease it up, you might think more is better, but it's not. The muscle doesn't need to be killed to be encouraged to grow, and you could be hurting yourself in many other ways as well.
