So I want to throw a pool party for my little cousin for her birthday. She's turning 7. We obviously don't have at pool but I was wondering if anyone knows of any place where we can rent the pool for the day. In the Los Angeles area to be exact. I mean like you know how parks have pools? Well is there a place where we can rent the pool area?

Consider renting an indoor public pool regardless of the season to insure your party is on, regardless of inclement weather. Outdoor public pools have strict rules regarding weather, such as rain and lighting, and they will cancel your pool party under these circumstances. Check outdoor pool policies and their deposit return policies carefully in the case of inclement weather that may rain on your party plans.
2
Check the maximum number of guests available for the particular pool that you would like to rent to be sure the pool can accommodate the size of your party. All public pools have a maximum capacity depending on the size of the pool, which will vary from pool to pool.
3
Verify availability and number of lifeguards and locker room use prior to submitting a deposit. Most public pool rentals will include a minimum number of lifeguards based upon a certain number of guests, and then they will provide additional lifeguards to accommodate the party size for an additional fee. Be clear on what the public pool offers in the rental fee before you make a deposit.
4
Expect to pay an hourly rate with a possible minimum hourly rental of 2 hours or more. Some public pools rent by the hour, while others block off a set amount of time per pool party rental. Inquire if there is a discount if your party rents the pool for more than 2 hours, during off seasons and non-peak hours or if you need to rent the pool on a weekly basis.
5
Ask if a concession stand is available, if you can bring in your own food and drink and if there is an area available for consumption onsite. Some public pools will offer a concession stand and seating for an additional fee, while other pools do not allow any kind food or drink in and around the pool area. Check their concession policies before making your reservation.

Adhere to all posted public pool rules at your private party and make sure all guests at the pool are aware of the rules. This ensures the safety of all guests to make sure everyone has a safe and fun time at the party.
