I've been having this happen to me for the last few months, sometimes a couple days in a row then sometimes not for a few weeks. Generally it starts in the evening lasting a few hours. Now it seems like its getting worse, the pain is sharper radiating to my right shoulder (?) on my back. I already had my appendix removed, but the pain is similar just higher on my abdomen. I'm 28 yrs old and have not had any children, ANY ideas on what this could be and what to do??
Update:Also I do not have insurance so going to see a primary care is not an option..

Sounds like your gallbladder. I had the exact same type of pain you are describing and it turned out I had an inflamed gallbladder. It is probably gallstones. I would go to your doctor, who will do an ultrasound of the gallbladder to check for gallstones. The best cure is removal of the gallbladder, which is easy and pretty painless.
Tell your parent/guardian NOW, and I recommend going to the doctor.. I don't want to scare you, but if it's your appendix (which is on your right side), you have limited time to get help. My brother's appendix burst, and if his girlfriend hadn't insisted he go to the hospital, he could have died. He thought he was just really hungover or had the flu for a couple days. I'm not sure about the sore throat symptom, but why risk it?
