SHORTER PERIODS AND BROWN DISCHARGE...?
im 17 years old and ive been havin real short periods for the past 2 months.my periods last for 7 days and now they are only 3 days. i started my period sept.6 with very light bleeding then it got heavy on the 7th and then light again on the 8th and 9th. the 9th i had some brown discharge so i thought i was ending my period because i read that brown discharge was common after ending your period but later that day i started bleeding again .my period is not on today.what i wanna know is why is my periods becoming shorter? and why did i have discharge but still bleeded later on?should i go to the doctors?what could it be?could this be a serious problem?

Could you be pregnant? When I had a tubal pregnancy I had brown bleeding but back then I had no idea that could happen. Any referred pain to the shoulders or abdominal discomfort? I would see the obgyn
Brown blood can happen before or after the period and even in between but see the Dr anyway for a full check up.
Hmmm... that's happened to me in the past. I remember one period lasted only 4 days. I was pretty happy about that lol. Some months though it'll be pretty heavy for the first 4 or 5 days and then it will just be some brown discharge the last two days. I don't really think it's really anything to worry about. When did you first start getting your period? If it wasn't until you were like, 16 for the first couple of months it can be a little irregular. I don't think you need to go to the doctor though yet. If it keeps up for the next couple of months I might suggest just to get it checked. Hope this helps and everything turns out fine! :)
Your body is just changing. The brown stuff is still blood its just old, doesn't sound like you have anything to be worried about but if you want to be 100% sure you should talk to your gyno.
