I have had my parrot cichlid for four months. For the last week It has been acting weird, not eating, laying at the bottom of the tank and hiding in it's little house. Today I looked at it and it looks as if it has like white fungus growing on several parts of its body. I have treated the tank for ich and I have seen no changes. I am not sure what to do now.....
Update:I am not sure that is it fungus...... I added more ich treatment today.

Okay well have you notice any improvement of the fungus? Try raising your aquarium temp to 75*F-80*F then, use the fungus treatment then, after a few days if you notice it getting better to the point where it was smaller than it was before then use aquarium salt to finish the fungus off. And once you are done with that and everything is all better do a 25%-50% water change and that should help =)
Add more anti fungal treatment (can get it at most pet stores) and clean the tank out every three or four days to try and optimise the chances of your fish getting better. Also ask about phenoxethol solution at the pet shop as that is often very effective at cleansing the tank and fish of the fungus. However the phenoxethol should be effective use it as a last resort and no more than twice as can have side effects. Hope that helps.
if it is a fungus then aquarium salt will help or an anti-fungal medication. You should also do a partial water change. Test your water for proper parameters as well.
