I have found a couple of exchange programs, but what i want to know is, how much Japanese do you have to know when you do an exchange program? Are there programs where you DON'T have to know?
I was an exchange student in Japan. I found out 3 years of studying Japanese didn't help much, but 3 months of speaking in Japanese makes all the difference. Make sure you find a family that doesn't speak English and have a high level of understanding the grammatical difference in the languages. Good Luck
