starting unofficial rock club in school?

First off... the school i "live" in didn't promote starting new clubs as much. The minute i found out you could... i was one week late. (drat)

But I was thinking... there's no friggin rock clubs?? Me and some friends were like... wtf? There's a hiphop club, dance club, gay club, japanese club, black club, and all those colorful clubs... You'd expect a rock club? Yes. Is there one? Nope.

I wanted to start my own club. was too late. But the fire burns on. I was thinking of NOT being like every other club (rock music = freedom and individuality) so I was thinking of self proclaiming my club as an "unofficial" club. Sure we don't get the benefits like getting support (cash, social status) from the student body or the club council... but at least we don't have to be watched over by a teacher or by the school. We could do whatever we want, say whatever we want, meet whenever we want, and heckk... even change our club's name (which the official scumbags could)

The way i see it... the ASB (or the school government) is REALLY close to a real government (hence student body) and it controls the clubs by giving them lame rules and prettying them up. We want to stray away from the "officialness" and become our own society. The rock society of our high school.

Any supporters of this idea? Comments? (please have comments on how to make this work... never started a club b4)

Update:

edit: official scumbags couldN'T
