strange lines appearing on my desktop computer.?
2 days ago i added wow to my computer. I deleted it by removing the program but before i did that i deleted the folder it was in. Now i cant delete the document fully. Also now I have strange lines appearing on my desktop background but only my background. Once i open a window they disappear. Is this issue related to wow. Or is it an entirley different issue? how do i fix it?
Update:Also the lines appear to be vertical and horizontal only. No bending. there multicolored like a rainbow. And move when i put my cursor on them.

This issue is not occurring because of WoW, it's your video card. I had an issue ~6 years ago where this happened, if it's the same thing. I had lots of red and green lines across my computer, and they it was slowly getting worse with time. Eventually, you couldn't even see the desktop anymore.
Turns out, my video card's fan stopped working and caused the card to overheat. I had to buy a new video card, as this one was already damaged. I would suggest checking your card and making sure it's functioning correctly.
Its nothing to do with WOW.have you tried updating your display drivers .
