Ok, Girlfriend has a 04 Hyundai Accent, it is stuck in park and the tail lights dont work either, now from what i have read in all the other questions pertaining to this issue, it is a fuse problem. Now my problem is I can't find the $&^% fuse, the only one i haven't checked is under the hood, it is a big square blue fuse that is labeled "TAIL" cant test it cause i dont have a way to. Is this it? Oh! The E brake still works to so that is ruled out.
Update:Need to know how to perm fix this not a temp fix. Thanks for the answers.

Does the car start? I had this problem today and I had to get a new battery. Mine wasn't starting.
The car has an shifter interlock system. When you depress the brake it releases the shifter lock. You either have a faulty brake lamp switch or a blown fuse. There may be a small plug on the right side of your gearshift lever. If so remove the plug and stick a small screwdriver straight down the hole until you feel it depress a switch, this will bypass the interlock and let you put in gear
